Cold Day

One cold day. I only have 3 things to say:

1. it's been some time since I last wore a jacket

2. I didn't realize that my hair was a mess

3. my facial cream is still doing a good job

=D

Important Possession

Me in front of an important possession: my laptop. Let me make it clear that the only reason it's important to me is because it's my lifeline to Ruther. That's it and that's all.

My Pet

This is my pet White Paw. He should be my boys' pet but well, I take care of him so I suppose he's really mine. I don't mind. I love animals. I used to be a dog lover because we have a LOT of dogs back home in Zamboanga but after having Sushi, I know now that I love rabbits more. Not only are they low maintenance, they are very cuddly, smart, very affectionate and so quiet. They are so perfect for me. I love this photo of me and White Paw because he looks so cute! Look at his tiny paws!! He's also growing so fast! He looks so much like a stuffed toy here I just want to squeeze him!! Hahaha! I love my White Paw. =D

I Heart Chocolate

Chocolate and I go together like milk and coffee, like moon and stars, like peanut butter and jelly. You get the idea. Here I am slicing a chocolate cake for our New Year's Eve media noche dinner. Mmmmm... Doesn't it look ab-so-lute-ly yummy? =D That's Mama behind me...

Can't Get Enough

I really can't get enough of my hubby. Being with him just makes the day more wonderful and more beautiful. I wish we can always be together, rain or shine, 24/7, thick or thin.

Love you, sweetie.

Cream Puffs

I was craving for these! When I heard that there was a Beard Papa's Cream Puffs branch at SM Mall of Asia, I just could not pass the opportunity. I asked Ruther to get a box for us and it was heavenly!! A box of six cost around P270. I think that's a fine price to pay for something that originally was in Japan, don't you think so?

Snoopy

This is me with the biggest stuffed Snoopy I have ever seen in my life. Of course, this was right outside the Snoopy store. It was just sooo cute! Anyway, we had a family trip to Odaiba (a place in Japan) and I had loads of fun. One day was not enough at all and I was so disappointed when we had to go home come evening. Too bad. Hopefully we will be able to visit the place should we make it to Japan again next year...

Classmates

This is a photo of some of my classmates during college/university. If you can't find me, I'm in the middle of the group (with the big smile). I love my college friends. I learned a lot from them and I was able to strengthen my personality and be more self-reliant because of them. Growing up with my High School friends was different because we belonged to the same world, to the same city. In college, I met people from different cities, with different personalities, with different views of the world. It was a bit intimidating at first but I learned to value my own uniqueness and I learned to lean on my own morals, to be resilient with peer pressure and to do what I perceive to be right. I must say, despite not being 100% content with my choice of college course, I learned to love it and learned a lot from my teachers and friends. I'm not worried about not following that career path any more. Those 6 years of college life was a lesson in itself and I know whatever God's plan is for me will be another learning (and fun) experience.

With Pluto

The day I became a child again. This is one of the reasons why I love Tokyo Disneyland so much. It's like you can be as silly as you want and it's perfectly okay. In a society that always approves of decorum and frowns on poor etiquette, Disneyland is such a refreshing and lovely place to be myself, to just go with the flow, to laugh out loud, to breathe, be with family, to be with people who love the same thing I do. If I manage another visit to this wonderful place, it will be like another dream come true...

A Queen and 2 Princesses

This is a photo of my mom, my sis and myself. This was taken at the reception of my brother-in-law's (Russell's) wedding. My mom was a godparent (ninang) which is why she is also dressed so formally.
I love my family. I could say that we are pretty close. I mean, we communicate once a week at least, we make sure to keep in touch and my mom comes over to visit twice a year or if that doesn't work out, we go over for a visit. Of course, there are things that opt not to share with my mom or dad to prevent them from worrying but I still manage to keep in touch with them and inform them of what is happening with our lives. My sis and I see each other every week and we hear mass together. I am thankful for this because I don't want us to drift apart just because I have a family or just because she has a career. So I am indeed grateful that we still stay pretty close despite living apart, despite having different goals in life and despite growing up and leaving home. I love my family...
